AUGUSTA — The Maine State Museum in Augusta kicks off February school vacation this year with a free performance by Rick Adam as Professor Paddy-Whack and His One Man Junk Band. The performance begins at 11a.m., Saturday, Feb.18. The museum is open free of charge all day.
In a 45-minute show for people of all ages, Professor Paddy-Whack’s performance includes hand shadows, musical saw, juggling, magic, hat tricks, dancing, mime, laugh riot comedy skits, marvelous object manipulation, and the most intricate and entertaining one man band you ever saw!
A resident of Buckfield, Adam has been performing, teaching, and inspiring people of all ages for over 20 years. He combines his extensive theatrical and musical experience to create original performances that both educate and entertain.
Professor Paddy-Whack and His One Man Junk Band is the first performance in the museum’s Free Family Saturdays programs, which will occur one Saturday a month from February through August. Free Family Saturdays are sponsored by Renys and Oakhurst Dairy.
