WEST PARIS — Cecile V. Packard, 94, of 141 Bethel Road, West Paris, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Ledgeview Living Center with her family by her side.

She was born in Canada on April 4, 1922, the daughter of Maria (Poire) and Louis Alfred Lefebvre.

She was married July 10, 1944, to William Thomas Packard, who predeceased her on April 21, 2008.

Cecile was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Church in Mexico.

She was a member of the Bomberettes’s bowling team for many years. She was a very talented piano player, cook, cake decorator, seamstress and the creative mind behind many projects that she and her husband made for family, friends and church fairs.

Cecile loved her flowers and had beautiful flower gardens around their home.

Most importantly, she was a very devoted wife, daughter, mother, sister and grandmother. She loved her family immensely.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda and husband, Spencer Couture, Karen and husband, David Wiley, and Pamela Packard; 10 grandchildren, Shannon Couture and wife, Nicole, Stephanie and husband, Matthew Gallant, Jessica Reed, Katrina and husband, Adam Luxton, Corey Mills and wife, Heather, Nathan Mills and Shainna Mills, Aaron Milligan and wife, Michelle, Eric Milligan, and Kurt Milligan and his fiancée, Barbara Bannon; 15 great-grandchildren; and a niece, Andrea Martel.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; all of her siblings; and an infant son, Mark Allen Packard.

The family would like to thank Ledgeview Living Center staff for their excellent and compassionate care given to Cecile for the past nine years.
