PORTLAND (AP) — Police have arrested three people in connection with the assault of a woman at a South Portland motel room that left her badly beaten.
Officers were dispatched to a Main Street motel shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday following reports of the altercation. There, police found that the victim’s room was trashed and her car was stolen.
The victim’s current condition is unclear.
Police located the woman’s stolen car and their initial investigation led officers to the suspects.
Twenty-one-year-old Aria Pomerleau, 27-year-old Benjamin Martineau and 28-year-old Nicole Haycock were all charged with burglary, robbery and aggravated assault.
Haycock and Martineau each face additional charges as well. It was unclear Monday whether any of the three have attorneys.
