JAY — William “Bill” Lee, 75, a resident of Jay, passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 17, with his son by his side.
Bill was born in Farmington and raised in Weld. He graduated from Dixfield High School and joined the U.S. Navy.
Bill worked at shoe factories as a hand sewer and as a police dispatcher for Livermore Falls and Jay Police departments for many years.
Survivors include a son, Raynold Lee of Jay; grandson, Kyle Lee of Rumford; two brothers, Steven and Sharon of Weld, Jeffrey and Mickie of Missouri; two sisters, Linda Lee of Weld, and Susan Lee and companion, Fred Richard, of Auburn.
He was predeceased by his parents, Carol and Althea (Blodgett) Lee; and brothers, Tarrance Lee and Reginald Lee.
