AUBURN — Tyler C. Daigle, 23, of Plymouth Avenue, Rumford, passed away Monday, Feb. 27, at the Hospice House in Auburn following a courageous battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

He was born in Farmington on June 4, 1993, a son of Susan H. Grace and Gregory F. Daigle.

Tyler was educated in Rumford schools and was a graduate of Mountain Valley High School, Class of 2012; and was currently a fifth-year student at the University of Maine at Farmington, majoring in history.

Tyler managed Mountain Valley varsity baseball while attending and never missed a Friday night Falcons football game.

He loved watching and attending WWE wrestling.

Tyler also loved attending family gatherings, spending time at camp in Carthage and summers at Pine Tree Camp in Rome.

Tyler is survived by his mother, Susan H. Grace of Rumford; his father, Gregory Daigle of Rumford; his fiancée, Gabrielle Severence of Dixfield; three sisters, Jana L. Thomas and husband, Scott, of Norfolk, Va., Malanie J. Frazel of Rumford and Diane Frazel and husband, Mike, of Dixfield; two brothers, Sage Gogan and wife, Devon, of Rumford, and David Daigle and wife, Tracy, of Mexico; maternal grandmother, Joann Grace of Farmington; maternal grandfather, Thomas Grace Jr. and wife, Lorraine, of Westbrook; many many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Charles P. and Jean Daigle.
