
Maine State Police say the driver of a pickup was killed instantly Monday afternoon when his truck veered into the path of an oil tanker truck on Route 3 in Liberty.
LIBERTY — State police in Maine say a person was killed in the collision of a passenger vehicle and an oil truck in the town of Liberty.
Police say the collision occurred on Route 3 on Monday. They did not immediately identify the driver of the passenger vehicle who died in the crash.
Maine troopers say traffic will be diverted around the site of the crash for the rest of Monday afternoon.
Liberty is about 25 miles east of Augusta in Waldo County.
