The recognition is for Wilde’s many volunteer hours of service to the community, Davis said. Wilde works Sundays at Ron’s Market to provide three $700 scholarships to two Mt. Blue and one Foster Tech student through the Wilde Foundation. He is also a mentor for the first robotics team, the Blue Crew Team at Mt. Blue. “I love Farmington,” Wilde said. “It is a great community and I believe I need to give back.” Farmington’s town meeting is at 7 p.m. Monday, March 27, at the Community Center.

Students in Richard Wilde’s computer technology class at Foster Career and Technical Education Center at the Mt. Blue Campus in Farmington attended a surprise presentation for Wilde on Tuesday. Farmington Town Manager Richard Davis presented Wilde with the first copy of the annual town report, which is dedicated to Wilde. The report, presented by Town Manager Richard Davis, is dedicated to Wilde for his many hours of volunteer work in the community. “Nothing would be possible without my loving wife of 33 years,” said Wilde, a computer technology instructor at Foster Career and Technical Education Center at the campus.
