LEWISTON — Clermont G. Poulin, 75, of Auburn, passed away Thursday, March 23, at Central Maine Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in St. Gideon, Quebec, Canada, on Dec. 1, 1941, a son of the late Gideon and Clementine (Delaire) Poulin. He lived in Lewiston from age 2 until graduating from the local high school. Belonging to the local carpenter’s union, he was a lifelong carpenter millwright. Clermont was a 4th degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus and was a member of the Pastime and Nationale Clubs, who enjoyed playing darts, four-wheeling, playing shuffleboard, cutting wood and going to the fall fairs.

Clermont is survived by his partner of 23 years, Donna Donahue; a daughter, Cathy Poulin, and partner, Patty Hill, of Tucson, Ariz.; two sons, Matthew Poulin and fiancée, Emily Bibbo, of Bow, N.H., and Joseph Poulin of Auburn; six grandchildren, McGyver Poulin, Kristen Poulin, David Poulin, Thomas Poulin, Britany and Brandon Donahue; a great-grandchild, Noah Burdette; and three sisters, Lorraine Lemay, Yvette Aube and Candide Rodrigue.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son, David Poulin; his brother, Gil Poulin; and his sister, Jacqueline Roy.
