JAY – Jay Baptist Church, 29 Smith Avenue, Jay, announces its Holy Week activities. Wednesday, April 12, 6:30 p.m., there will be a special service to prepare our hearts for the coming weekend. Participants will be encouraged to share how their spiritual lives have been affected by previous observances of Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday.
Saturday, April 15, the church will be open from 10 a.m. to 12 noon for those who would like to place flowers in memory of loved ones.
Sunday, April 16, the day will begin at 9:15 a.m. in the vestry with an Easter Breakfast of Ham and Eggs, breakfast casseroles, fruit, muffins and more.
During the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service, the choir will sing an Easter Victory Medley, and Pastor Bestwick will preach on “How Resurrection Power Can Change Your Life.” The public is invited to all these events.
