ANSWER: Home medical equipment loan closets exist across the state. They are usually run by area agencies, hospitals, towns, service clubs or churches.

HELLO SUN SPOTS: 4 Season Farm market will have senior farm shares available for sign up at our shop on the corner of Mill and Third St. in New Auburn beginning today, Thursday, April 13. Seniors must sign up in person, first come, first served. We cannot hold or save shares. Our shop hours are Tuesday through Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The guidelines for qualification for a $50 share of fresh local Maine fruits and vegetables are as follows: You must be 60 or older, a Maine resident with a single household income of less than $21,978 or a 2-person household income of $29,637. DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Rumford Hospital Auxiliary is seeking items for its yard sale on Saturday, May 20. Whether it’s a single item, a room full or house full, the Auxiliary will gladly accept it. The Auxiliary accepts everything except major appliances and clothing. Furniture, rugs, kitchen goods, books and office items are big sellers. All proceeds are donated to Rumford Hospital to continue providing quality healthcare services to the River Valley.
