RSU 10 kindergarten, pre-k registration

RUMFORD — RSU 10 has announced that registration packets for kindergarten and pre-kindergarten students are available for pick up between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Rumford Elementary School, 121 Lincoln Ave., in the school office.

Food Mobile coming to Kingfield

KINGFIELD — The Good Shepherd Food Bank’s Food Mobile will come to town from 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, May 9, at 476 Main St.

Fresh produce, meat and nonperishable items will be distributed. Those in Kingfield and surrounding towns in need of emergency food assistance are welcome to attend.

Hope Association collects planters

RUMFORD — The Hope Association is accepting planters as donations at the What-Not-Shop, 84 Lincoln Ave.

The planters will be reused in the Briar Patch greenhouse this spring.

SeniorsPlus satellite office hours 

FARMINGTON — SeniorsPlus will hold office hours for its satellite office location at 218 Fairbanks Road.

Office hours for scheduled appointments will be from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays. Visitors will need to call 1-800-427-1241 to schedule an appointment.

Walk-in hours will be held from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of every month. Staff will be on hand to answer questions or concerns community members may have about services and resources for older adults and adults with disabilities and their families. These services are free and open to the public.
