MONMOUTH — Police in Maine say a Skowhegan man who was riding a motorcycle died after a head-on collision in Monmouth.
WABI-TV reports 68-year-old Robert Saveall was driving west on Route 202 when his motorcycle crossed the center line and hit another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt.
Police in Monmouth are trying to locate next of kin for Saveall. The accident happened on Friday night and is still under investigation.
Saveall was a homeless veteran. He had recently moved into a shelter in Lewiston.
