LEWISTON — Therese G. Fournier, 86, a resident of Paul Street in Lewiston, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 29, at her residence.

She was born in St. Quentin, New Brunswick, Canada, Feb. 23, 1931, the daughter of Ludger and Anna (Drapeau) Theriault.

Terry was married to her husband, Roger Fournier, for 54 years until his passing April 28, 2010. Her whole life centered on her family and running her family household. She loved playing golf and wintering with family and friends in Florida. She also was a wonderful cook and made a great meat pie during the holidays. Together with her husband, she hosted many memorable gatherings at their cottage on Sabattus Lake over the years.

Survivors include two sons, John Fournier and wife, Christine, and Patrick Fournier, and one daughter, Lisa Fournier and companion, Paul Mercier, all of Lewiston; one grandson, Jacques Cyr; and several great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her 11 siblings, including her brother, Alfred Theriault, who predeceased her on the same day.
