• May 8, 4:01 p.m.: An Ellis River Road resident reported the theft of a floor jack valued at $200. Patrolman Ashley Rich is investigating.

• May 8, 2:04 p.m.: A Spruce Street resident reported tools were stolen from his vehicle. Patrolman Rich is investigating.

• May 6, 11:17 p.m.: Heather McAlister, 27, of Rumford, was arrested on charges of operating after habitual offender revocation and operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Lincoln Avenue. She was released on $800 unsecured bail and is to appear in Rumford District Court on July 10 at 8:30 a.m.

• May 5, 6:57 p.m.: A Congress Street business reported the theft of computer hardware. Sgt. James Bernard is investigating.

• May 3, 1:50 p.m.: Quentin Kelley, 18, of Peru was arrested on Cumberland Street on a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a burglary charge. He was transported to the Oxford County Jail in Paris.

• May 3, 8:40 a.m.: A taxi company reported the theft of services by female given a ride to Knox Street. Patrolman Rich is investigating.

• April 27, 8:20 a.m.: Chantel Blount, 29, of Mexico was summonsed on a charge of attempted forgery following a report of attempted fraud at a Congress Street bank. Patrolman Rich and Cpl. Lawrence Winson investigated. She is to appear in Rumford District Court on June 12.
