OTISFIELD — The Board of Selectmen will display an electronic sign for public viewing from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, at the Town Office.
The board is proposing such a sign for the Town Office and voters will decide at the annual town meeting June 24 whether to buy one.
In January, Selectman Rick Micklon said he has been a proponent of an electronic sign to provide information to residents. He said Neokraft Signs in Lewiston proposed a black-and-white model for $21,859.
Other items on the agenda at the board’s 7 p.m. meeting include:
• Discussion on ATV road use for 2017;
• Opening bids for ambulance service; and
• A request to rename a town road.
