DURHAM — The Lisbon Area Christian Outreach benefit car show, hosted by Yankee Cruisers Car Club, will be held Saturday, June 3, at Shiloh Chapel. Registration will take place from 8 to 11 a.m., and the event will include crafters and food.

“Summer is especially hard for families when free school meal programs end. Funds raised from this event will allow us to give more food and healthy snacks over these critical months,” said Bob Couture, LACO president.

According to Pantry Coordinator Carol Day, last year LACO provided food to 6,421 individuals (4,356 adults and 2,065 children). This included 147 new households and 326 registered families who made 2,371 visits.

Founded in 1985, LACO is a nonprofit organization that serves Lisbon, Durham and Bowdoin. The food and clothing pantry is located at the rear entrance of the MTM Center, School Street, Lisbon Falls.
