Bates College men’s lacrosse senior Kyle Weber was named the winner of the Fran McCall Award over the weekend. The award is given to the outstanding midfielder in Division III.

Weber received the award Friday, the same day of the North-South Division III All-Star Game that he competed in.

The native of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, is the first Bobcat to receive a USILA/Nike Player of the Year award. During his senior season, Weber notched career highs with 57 goals and a 21 assists. He also tied the Bates single-game record with nine goals against Amherst in March.

Weber closed out his Bates career with 163 points (114 goals, 49 assists).
