GREENE – Fire crews from several towns on Wednesday were battling flames after a building on Sprague Mills Road caught fire at about 1 p.m.
Early reports were that a small building next to a home at 83 Sprague Mills Road was on fire.
The first firefighters on scene reported that the building was totally engulfed. Crews from Sabattus, Monmouth and Lewiston were assisting Greene firefighters.
Sprague Mills Road connects Sawyer Road with Route 202.
