LEWISTON — Normand R. Morin of Old Greene Road passed away May 26 at CMMC after a short illness. He was born in Lewiston on Nov. 8, 1942, the son of Henry and Lillian (Cote) Morin.

Norm enjoyed being in the Special Olympics and going out to eat at Governor’s Restaurant, where he had so many friends … To know him was to love him.

Norm is survived by one sister, Lorraine Price, and her husband, Ralph; one brother, Raymond Morin; and two nephews, Robert and Michael Fogg. Norm also leaves behind a very special friend, Syd Danforth, who made the last 10 years of Norm’s life so wonderful.

Normand’s family would like to thank the following: Norm’s caseworker Dan Crawford, The Twarog Center staff, the staff at the Lewiston Dialysis Center, the staff of M1 Unit at CMMC, Debbie Drinkwater for matching Norm and Syd up 10 years ago and special thanks to Carlene Barnies and the crew at Governor’s Restaurant for always making Norm feel special.
