CARTHAGE — The Carthage Generations Club will hold a community yard sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m Saturday, June 24, at the Carthage Town Office.

FARMINGTON — The University of Maine Cooperative Extension’s Franklin County 4-H Benefit Auction will be held Saturday, June 24, at the Farmington Fairgrounds. The event is open to the public free.

The 4-H Benefit Auction will begin at 6 p.m. with a viewing. The auction will start at 7 p.m., hosted by the Franklin County 4-H Leader’s Association. All proceeds will be used to support the 4-H Development Program in Franklin County.

JAY — North Jay Grange will hold an auction, food and craft sale at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 24. 

There will be a pancake and waffle breakfast for $3, eat in or take out, and free coffee.

Items for auction will be on display. The auction starts at 10 a.m.

New or gently used items are being collected as donations.

TURNER — Rural Community Action Ministry is hosting its sixth annual Auction for Action, at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at  Boofy Quimby Memorial Center, 96 Howes Corner Road, Route 119.

The event will feature live music, a barbecue, a silent auction, and a live auction with auctioneer, Ed Wheat. The live auction begins at 7 p.m.

Donations are welcome, as well as gift certificates and gift baskets.

All proceeds from the auction provide support services to low income and vulnerable residents in the 13 town service area of RCAM, assisting with heat, food and hunger prevention, housing repair, homelessness prevention and shelter, and more.

RUMFORD — The Beacon House Learning and Recovery Center will hold a craft and vender fair at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at the Rumford Eagles Lodge, 129 Rumford Ave.

There will be craft tables, food tables, karaoke and a large Chinese auction table. Lunch is being offered.

Tables are $15 for one and $25 for two. Anyone donating an item for the Chinese auction can have $5 off. Donations must be dropped off by Friday, June 30.
