GRAY — Retired science teacher Jon Wallace will present a program on bugs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 1, at the Maine Wildlife Park on Route 26.

The exhibit will show some of the world’s largest bugs and how they relate to some of the bugs familiar to Maine. There will be live insects, shed insect skins, fossils, insectivorous plants and an exoskeleton. Discover why “bugs” are the most successful group of animals ever.

In addition, the Department of Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry’s Maine Bug Watch Program will have a display and information about the latest invasive pests that threaten plants.
