RANGELEY — The best films of the Maine International Film Festival will be shown at “MIFF in the Mountains” — eight films over four nights, Sunday through Wednesday, July 30 through August 2, at the RFA Lakeside Theater in Rangeley. A different film will be shown at 5 and 8 p.m. each evening.

These eight films represent the best of American independent and international cinema. Also spotlighted will be some of Maine and New England’s most exciting and innovative filmmakers.

Audiences will also have the opportunity to meet and talk with some of the people behind the movies — curators, professors, critics and filmmakers. A complete list of the films, schedule and guest speakers is available at rangeleyarts.org.

Tickets are $7 per movie and $50 for an all-movie pass. Tickets will also be available for all shows at the door. MIFF in the Mountains is exclusively sponsored by Juliet J. Goodfriend, founder of the Bryn Mawr Film Institute, and is presented by the Rangeley Friends of the Arts.
