PORTLAND — Deiner Lopez drew a bases-loaded walk with one out in the 10th inning to score the winning run, as the Portland Sea Dogs topped the Bowie Baysox 5-4 on Sunday.

Chad De La Guerra scored the game-winning run after he entered the game as a pinch runner on second base and advanced to third on a single by Jordan Procyshen.

The Sea Dogs tied the game 4-4 when Josh Tobias hit a solo home run in the sixth.

Reliever Josh Smith (5-1) went one scoreless inning, allowing one hit while striking out two to pick up the win. Scott McGough (1-2) retired one batter by strikeout in the Eastern League game.

Tobias homered and singled in the win.

Stranding 14 men on base, the Baysox did not take advantage of some good scoring chances in the loss. For the Baysox, Portland native Ryan Flaherty singled four times, scoring three runs. Austin Hays doubled and singled.
