LEWISTON — Geiger recently presented Patrick Blanchard with one of its quarterly Geiger Star Awards.

The awards are given to associates who have been nominated by fellow associates in recognition of their efforts to represent the values of The Geiger Way.

Blanchard works for the marketing department, but he is always readily available to help other departments with their needs, according to co-workers.

The Farmers’ Almanac team nominated Blanchard because of the way he always finishes special requests for them within 24 hours. His co-workers said he understands the importance of customer satisfaction and goes above and beyond to deliver it.
