
Members of the Ladies Guild of Our Lady of Ransom, St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Mechanic Falls, are organizing an End-of-Summer Tithe Yard Sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at the church, 117 Elm St. They are, from left, Louise Roberts, Josie Hebert, Pat O’Brien, Mary Dobens and Barbara Wiseman. Vendors will have access to tables with no fee and are asked to tithe 10 percent of their day’s earnings to the church renovation fund. Coffee and doughnuts will be available.
