Works by featured artist Suzanne Hardy will be on view at the Main Street Gallery, 426 Main St., Norway, throughout the month of September. Visitors may meet the artist at a reception Friday, Sept. 1. Hardy has been an active artist in Norway and member of the Western Maine Art Group for more than 20 years. She uses photographs she has taken from the mountains and coast of Maine, as well as from her travels, as a starting point for her creative process. From direct observation and in the studio she primarily works in watercolors. She also works in acrylics, gouache, pastels, colored pencils and mixed media.
