LEWISTON — The Lewiston Public Library is featuring Ye Olde Shakespeare Week from Tuesday, Sept. 5, to Saturday, Sept. 9. Some examples of events (not including the trivia and scavenger hunts at the library) are listed:
Thursday to Saturday, Sept. 7 to 9, at 6 p.m.: “Twelfth Night,” set in 1950s San Francisco, performed by Gypsy Lew Theater Co., at Dufresne Plaza.
Friday, Sept. 8, at 3 p.m.: Shakespearean stories and silly crafts.
Friday, Sept. 8, at 6 p.m.: “Foul Papers and Bad Quartos,” Michael Levine of Acorn Theater Co., speaking in Callahan Hall.
