AUBURN — A Labor Day yard sale to benefit the Resident Counsel and Staff Appreciation Committee at Bolster Heights Residential Care Facility will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at 26 Bolster St.

There will be furniture, clothing, medical equipment, office furniture and more. 

The rain date will be Sept. 9.

Donations are being collected for sale.

AUBURN — Sixth Street Congregational Church will have a yard and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at 209 Sixth St.

There will be a white elephant table, books, children’s table, baked goods and a plant sale.

LEWISTON — Holy Cross Knights of Columbus Council 12652 will begin the season of monthly Take Out Beans on Saturday, Sept. 2.

The dinners will continue on the first Saturday of the month until May 2018.

“Take Out Beans” are held at Holy Cross church hall from 3 to 5:30 PM located at 1080 Lisbon St.

MECHANIC FALLS — The Ladies Guild of Our Lady of Ransom, St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish’s End-of-Summer Tithe Yard Sale will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at the church, 117 Elm St., rain or shine.

Coffee and doughnuts will be available.

Donations of goods are needed and will be accepted up to the day of the sale.

WAYNE — First Saturday at the Williams House with a book sale, boutique and breakfast will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 2, with specially priced books reduced to $1.
