MEXICO — The Mexico Public Library is preparing for the grand opening of its T.J. Williams Children’s Listening Center.

The library has over 50 new audiobooks available, including read-alongs, and a brand new listening center that can accommodate up to six people at once. Patrons may listen in the library, or check items out and listen at home.

Children ages 2-5 are invited to enjoy storytime on Saturday, Sept. 9, to read about and celebrate Grandparents Day, when the library hopes to incorporate its new listening center for the first time.

This month’s remaining storytime themes are:

• Sept. 16: Welcome to Your Library;

• Sept. 23: Autumn; and

• Sept. 30: National Parks.
