PORTLAND (AP) — A man who faces an attempted murder charge following a shooting at a car wash in Maine is being held on $100,000 bail.

The Portland Press Herald (http://bit.ly/2eIBpB9 ) reported that Abdul Rahman Timbo of Virginia made his initial appearance in court on Tuesday, two days after the shooting.

Police say a 22-year-old Westbrook man was shot, but only suffered minor injuries that did not require medical attention. He fled after the shooting but was later questioned by police.

Police say the two men knew each other, but have not said what led to the shooting. Timbo’s lawyer declined comment Tuesday, saying she needed time to familiarize herself with the facts.
