LEWISTON — Maddy Foster netted a pair of goals on Friday to lead Lewiston to a 5-0 girls’ soccer rout over Cony.

The Blue Devils (1-3-0) jumped out to a 3-0 advantage in the first half. Kelsie Lynch, Sara Robert and Kajha Gagnon also tallied to complete the scoring. Christine Chasse and Megan St. Cyr also contributed with assists.

Kallie May needed only one save to preserve the shutout, while Kiara Henley turned aside 19 shots for the Rams (0-5-0).

Leavitt 9, Lawrence 0

FAIRFIELD — Leah Maheux and Jayden Carpenter each registered hat tricks on Friday as Leavitt overpowered Lawrence 9-0 in girls’ soccer action.

Alison Noniwicz, Emily Swan and Kristen Roux also tallied for the Hornets (2-4) to complete the scoring.

Shelby Varney and Allie Roux combined to make eight saves for Leavitt, while Riley Hanson turned aside 18 shots for the Bulldogs (1-5).

Oak Hill 0, Telstar 0

WALES — In an MVC boys’ soccer contest, Oak Hill and Telstar battled to a scoreless draw Friday.

The Raiders’ record is now 1-3-1 on the season while the Rebels are now 3-2-1.

Boothbay 4, Oak Hill 1

BOOTHBAY — Senior forward Sydney Meader compiled all four of Boothbay’s goals as the Seahawks swooped in for a 4-1 victory over Oak Hill in field hockey action Friday afternoon.

The Seahawks (4-2) led 2-0 at the midpoint.

Junior center midfielder Zoe Buteau notched the lone Raiders (4-3) goal in the second half.

Goalie MacKenzie Thibodeau made 16 saves for Oak Hill, while goalie Emily Aramal prevented 11 to earn the win in net for Boothbay.

Dirigo 2, Mtn. Valley 1

DIXFIELD — Kailey Hackett netted a goal with 3.7 seconds remaining in overtime on an assist from Page Lueders to lift Dirigo to a 2-1 victory over Mtn. Valley in field hockey action Friday evening.

Hackett also posted the game’s first goal to put the Cougars up 1-0 at the half.

Rylee Sevigny evened the contest at 1-1 with 14 seconds left in regulation to force overtime play for the Falcons.

Goalie Alyssa Akers made nine saves for Mtn. Valley, while goalie Morgan Morrow turned back four to earn the win in net for Dirigo.

College volleyball

Tufts 3, Bates 0

MEDFORD, Mass. — Senior Captain Alex Garrett and sophomore Hather Holz sealed the third set as Tufts took a 3-0 win in college volleyball action Friday afternoon.

Tufts and Bates battled in all three sets, but the Jumbos (4-1) came out the victor. Tufts was led by 16 kills from junior Mackenzie Bright.

The Bobcats (3-3) were led by 11 kills from Tyalor Stafford-Smith, and Ruby Lightbourn added eight of her won. Defensively Gabi Eustache finished with 23 digs and Stafford-Smith added nine.

Jacqueline Forney took care of the setting for Bates, and finished the vening with 30 assists.
