RANGELEY — The Rangeley Friends of the Arts has announced winners in the Western Mountain Photography Show, held Sept. 15 and 16 at the Rangeley Inn and Tavern. The theme was Shapes.

The winners of the juried exhibit, each receiving a cash award and ribbon, were as follows:

Best in Show: Sandra Miner, Dancing Among the Stars.

Black & White Division: First, Allen Wicken, Fog-Bound Dock, Droplet-Bound Web; second, William Burke, Against the Snow Storm; third, Mark Turner, Ammonite.

Color Division: First, Carol-Anne Tadeo, Ice Storm; second, Janis Burke, Drop by Drop; third, Allen Wicken, Shades of Sun and Sky.

A special ribbon was awarded to the People’s Choice, which was earned by Wess Connally for his image titled Water and the Wall.

The winners were recognized at an awards reception on Sept. 16 at the Rangeley Inn and Tavern.
