Tiger Sharks swim team is for youths, ages 5 to 18, interested in competitive swimming in a positive and encouraging environment. Head Coach Will McCorkle will focus on stroke development, increasing endurance and nutrition.

In order to build team spirit, all swimmers will practice at the same time, with swimmers of the same ability and speed in each lane. The team will participate in USA swim meets. Travel is required for all meets.

To join, youths must be able to swim two continuous laps (50 yards), one freestyle and one backstroke. The 2017-2018 season starts Sept. 25 and runs until March 1. Practices are from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
