Golden Age Club to have harvest dinner

AUBURN — Immaculate Heart of Mary Golden Age Club will meet Tuesday, Oct. 10, at Sacred Heart Church.

A social hour will be held from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by a harvest dinner with a surprise dessert. Cost is $6.

A short business meeting will include election of officers. There will be a cookie raffle and all are invited to bring cookies.

New members and guests are always welcome. Reservations are required.

MECHANIC FALLS — Mechanic Falls Public Library holds Story Hour and Craft Time from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. every Monday.

Story Hour is geared for ages 2 to 5.

Auxiliary seeks crafters, vendors

AUBURN — The Legion Auxiliary is seeking crafters and vendors to participate in its annual craft and vendor fair to be held from 9 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at 426 Washington St. North.

Six-foot tables are available without electricity for $15 or with electricity for $20. Tables are rented on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Coffee and doughnuts will be provided at no charge to vendors and crafters; Lunch and drinks will be available to all for purchase.

Lewiston Bridge Club to play 

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club plays at 9 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays in the Seniors’ Room at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave.

A partner is always guaranteed and all bridge players are welcomed.

Auburn Church collecting hygiene products

AUBURN — The Auburn United Methodist Church is supporting the Center for Wisdom’s Women by helping supply hygiene products for the women that they serve.

Requested donations include shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, body wash, disposable razors, lotion, lip balm and feminine hygiene products.  

Donations can be dropped off at 439 Park Ave.
