This weekend only, The Public Theatre, 31 Maple St., Lewiston is showing 10 of the best short films the world has to offer. Film-goers will unite with audiences in more than 250 cities spanning six continents to view and judge the work of the next generation of filmmakers from around the world when the 20th Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival screens at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Sept. 29 and 30, and 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 1.
