LISBON FALLS — Lisbon United Methodist Church will host a pancake and bacon breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at 14 School St. 

All youth active in sports who wear their team uniform will be entered to win a gift certificate to a sporting goods store.

MECHANIC FALLS — A spaghetti dinner and dance will take place on Saturday, Sept. 30, at Post 150, American Legion, 41 Elm St.

The dinner will be from 5 to 7 p.m., and the dance will be from 7 p.m. to midnight, with music by Crooked Creek. Cost is $15.

There will be a 50/50, a silent auction and door prizes.

All proceeds will help Texas hurricane victims. 

NORWAY — Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church and the Norway Grange will serve weekly community breakfasts from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturdays at the Norway Grange on Whitman Street.

All are welcome to a hot breakfast and fellowship.

RUMFORD — A benefit for Dean Barnett, diagnosed with liver cancer, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Rumford Eagles.

A spaghetti dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m.; $7 for adults and $5 for kids age 12 and under.

There will be free admission for the event, which includes a Chinese auction, 50/50, live auction and live music.

MECHANIC FALLS — The American Legion serves breakfast from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on the first Sunday of the month at 41 Elm St.

SABATTUS — The first community breakfast of the season will be held from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, at the Harry J. Conway Post 135, American Legion, 40 Island Road.

The next breakfast will be held Nov. 5.

Cost: $8; children, $3.

LEWISTON — SeniorsPlus is offering a dining site designed to cater to the Somali community in the St. Mary’s Nutrition Center at 208 Bates St.

The public is invited to attend lunches presented there on Mondays (except holidays) at 11:30 a.m.
