LEWISTON — Maine author Lorraine Dutile Masure will discuss her book, “Growing Up Franco-American,” at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, at the Franco-American Collection, Room 170, University of Southern Maine, Lewiston-Auburn College, 51 Westminster St.

Participants will hear and discuss early experiences about growing up in what, essentially, was an Old World culture, complete with its distinct food, music, values and language.
