TUESDAY, Oct. 3

AUBURN — Multi-Faith Roundtable discussion, 12:30 p.m., Auburn Public Library; local religious leaders will present lively yet friendly multi-faith talk by clergy who also serve as Auburn Police Department chaplains, including Rabbi Sruli Dresdner, Pastor Roger Cousineau, the Rev. Jodi Cohen Hayashida and Pastor Richard Waller.

LEWISTON — City Council workshop and meeting, 6 p.m. at Lewiston City Hall. 

LEWISTON — L-A merger forum hosted by Uplift LA, 5:30-7 p.m. at the Gendron Franco Center, 46 Cedar St. Matt Leonard will represent the Coalition Opposed to Lewiston-Auburn Consolidation, and Kristy Phinney will represent One LA. Matthew Shaw will be the moderator.

SATURDAY, Oct. 7

LEWISTON — Fifth annual national Star Wars Reads Day, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Callahan Hall of Lewiston Public Library. All ages welcome, admission free. Star Wars Reads Day is a global celebration of books about Star Wars. Guests, many in costumes, will be invited to assist the Rebel Alliance in taking down the Death Star pinata.
