The opening reception for “Reunion: Art Exhibit,” at the Farmington Public Library will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5. Refreshments will be provided. The exhibit features works by Penny Hall, Mary McFarland, Jan Royall and Dona Seegers. McFarland of Farmington is a fiber artist and Dona Seegers from Mt. Vernon works in sculpted paper. Jan Royall  from Kingfield is a stained-glass and multimedia artist. Penny Hall, also of Kingfield, creates book art and works in clay. The women have worked together many times, hence the title of the exhibit “Reunion.” The exhibit will be up through December. Each artist is donating a work to be raffled off in December. Tickets are $1 or 10 for $5. Winners will be notified by phone.
