YARMOUTH — Hannah Trottier-Braun set a state record for goals in a season as part of St. Dominic Academy’s 8-2 victory over North Yarmouth Academy in a WMC Class C South field hockey game Monday.

Paige Cote led the Saints (12-0) with four goals and two assists, Caroline Johnson added two goals, and Trottier-Braun scored her 46th goal of the season to go along with two assists. Anna Cote also scored, while Kylie Leavitt and Callie Samson notched assists.

Katie Larson and Emilia McKenney scored for the Panthers (5-7), who got 19 saves in net from Eliza Tod.

Lake Region 2, Poland 1, OT

NAPLES — Olivia Deschenes scored from Paige Davis in overtime to give host Lake Region a 2-1 victory over Poland in a WMC Class B South field hockey clash Monday.

Deschenes had assisted on a Davis goal in regulation for the Lakers (7-5). Bri Doucette scored an unassisted goal for the Knights (8-4).

Ashton Sturtevant made six saves for Poland, while Ari Hood stopped two shots for the Lakers.

Brunswick 4, Lewiston 1

BRUNSWICK — Hollie Imperato scored a pair of goals to help lift Brunswick over Lewiston, 4-1, in a KVAC Class A North field hockey game Monday.

Imperato got the Dragons’ (4-7) offense to start both halves. Shea Sullivan added a first-half goal and Abigal Belanger rounded out the scoring in the second. Lauren Jacobs and Grace Casey notched assists.

Grace Dumond scored from Erin Lachance as the Blue Devils (1-10) went into halftime down 2-1.

Ainsley Harrow had four saves in each half for Brunswick. Cece Landry stopped 14 shots for Lewiston, which also got four defensive saves from Marissa Adams.

Greely 6, Gray-NG 1

GRAY — Ella Novick tallied two goals and two assists in Greely’s 6-1 win over host Gray-New Gloucester in a WMC Class B South fiels hockey tilt Monday.

Hannah and Maddy Perfetti, Wren Payne and Delia Knox also scored for the Rangers (6-4-1). Sydney Meredith-Pickett assisted on a pair of goals, while Elizabeth Brown and Maddy Perfetti also added assists.

Al Shampine scored from Madelyn Cote for the Patriots (1-9-1), who got three saves from Alicia Credit and one from Mackenzie Baston. Kylie Rogers stopped three shots for Greely.

Spruce Mountain 2, Lisbon 1

JAY — Alexis Beardsley and Hanni Johnson scored two minutes apart in the first half and host Spruce Mountain held on for a 2-1 victory over Lisbon in MVC Class C South field hockey action Monday.

Avery Williams assisted on Beardsley’s goal to start the scoring for the Phoenix (7-4).

Sadie Hardt scored with less than five minutes left for the Greyhounds (2-7-2).

Rebecca Budesheim stopped seven shots for Lisbon, while Sydney Shaffer and Melissa Bamford combined to make five saves for the Phoenix.

Oak Hill 10, Telstar 0

LITCHFIELD — Adelle Surette and Maegan Sheehy scored four goals apiece as part of Oak Hill’s 10-0 win over visiting Telstar in an MVC Class C South field hockey contest Monday.

Desirae Dumais and Zoe Buteau also scored for the Raiders (6-7). Surette added two assists, as did Lexi Faucher and Buteau, while Kiera Young and Kiara Levesque both notched one.

Perry Morton made 20 saves for the Rebels (0-12). Mackenzie Thibeault stopped four shots in the first half for Oak Hill, and Nataliegh Moody manned the net in the second half.

Boys’ soccer

Mt. Abram 2, Winthrop 1

SALEM — Tyson Hill broke a tie with 10 minutes left to lift Mt. Abram to a 2-1 win over Winthrop in an MVC Class C South boys’ soccer tilt Monday.

Hill gave the Roadrunners (8-1-2) the win with a goal on a direct kick. Evan Mackay scored Mt. Abram’s first goal on a pass from Ben Butterfield in the first half to tie the game.

Rowan Goebel-Bain took advantage of a defensive miscue to give the Ramblers (3-6-1) an early lead.

Ben Boulay stopped eight shots for Winthrop, while Nate Luce and Jack Deming combined to make two saves for Mt. Abram.

Mountain Valley 4, Dirigo 1

RUMFORD — Cam Gallant notched a goal and an assist in Mountain Valley’s 4-1 victory over rival Dirigo in an MVC boys’ soccer game Monday.

Jacob Sinclair, Dalton Noyes and Garrett Garbarini also scored for the Falcons (6-1-3). Will Sorenson and Espen Lamberg added assists.

Jeremy Garbain scored on a penalty kick in the first half for the Cougars (0-10), who got eight saves from Wesley Libby and two more from Derek Ducharme. Jacob Rainey and Casey Cormier each made one save for the Falcons.

BETHEL — Noah Austin and David Schlotterbeck turned a scoreless stalemate into a two-goal halftime lead for visiting Lisbon, which picked up a 2-0 win over Telstar in MVC Class C South boys’ soccer action Monday.

Austin scored with seven minutes left in the first half, and Schlotterbeck added his goal with just 20 ticks left on the clock before intermission.

Jonah Sautter made five saves for a shutout for the Greyhounds (5-3-1), while Boston Ludden stopped eight shots for the Rebels (4-7-1).

Girls’ soccer

Monmouth 5, Wiscasset 0

MONMOUTH — Tia Day scored twice and Audrey Fletcher assisted on three goals as Monmouth Academy topped Wiscasset 5-0 in an MVC girls’ soccer game Monday.

Alicen Burnham, Anna Lewis and Emily Grandahl also scored for the Mustangs (8-1). Destiny Clough made two saves for the shutout.

Lindsey Gordon stopped 25 shots for the Wolverines (7-3).

Rangeley 2, NYA 0

RANGELEY — Megan Kierstead scored in the first half and Olivia Hall found the back of the net in the second for host Rangeley, which doubled down and beat North Yarmouth Academy 2-0 in a Class D South girls’ soccer tilt Monday.

Natasha Haley added an assist for the Lakers (6-1-3), who only needed one save from Sydney Royce.

Kara Jensen turned away 12 shots for the Panthers (1-8).

Boothbay’s Jo Shaw and Winthrop’s Gia Francis keep the pace in pursuit of the ball during Monday afternoon’s field hockey game in Winthrop.
