AUBURN — Betsy Sibley, vice president of marketing/business development at Community Credit Union, will be the featured speaker at the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club at noon Thursday, Oct. 12, at the Village Inn, 165 High St.

Sibley has been with the credit union for five years. She oversees the sales, marketing, advertising, community outreach, internal staff training and event planning. She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from Thomas College, has been a licensed insurance agent since 2002 and has been working in the financial industry in various capacities since that time.

Sibley is involved in the community, serving as the public relations committee chairwoman for the L-A Rotary Club, secretary for the Turner Ridge Riders Snowmobile Club, president of the Turner Parent Teacher Committee, member of the Statewide Awareness Committee for the Maine Credit Union League as well as an ambassador and committee member for the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce.

Sibley volunteers as a coach for the Turner Athletic Association.

Achievements include earning the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor in 2008, being recognized with a Paul Harris Fellow award from Rotary in 2015 and being a 2015 graduate of the Androscoggin Leadership Development Institute. Sibley was recently nominated in the “Creative Genius” category for Uplift LA’s 40 under 40.
