All are invited to join the volunteers and the board in Room 116, 51 Westminster St., for refreshments, activities and program information. Guests will experience several of the organization’s focus areas. They will be challenged to answer questions from the American Citizenship exam, add to the Scrabble board or conquer the mirror activity.
All who have questions about L-VA, how to volunteer or wish to connect with a literacy tutor are welcome to the open house.
Literacy Volunteers-Androscoggin provides free one-on-one tutoring, family literacy and workplace literacy classes for adults and families in Androscoggin County.
