Buckfield Historical Society to meet
BUCKFIELD — The Buckfield Historical Society meets the second Thursday of the month from April to October begining with a social hour from 6 to 7 p.m. followed by the business meeting and presenation by a guest speaker.
This month’s meeting on Oct. 12 will feature Bob Perry, and he will talk about the history of local telecommunications.
The meetings are open to the public.

JAY — The Buttons4Babes Giving Circle meets from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 170 Main St.

WEST PARIS — The West Paris Historical Society will meet at 6 p.m Monday, Oct. 16.
It will start with a potluck supper. A business meeting will follow at 6:30 p.m.
