Daughters of Isabella meeting

RUMFORD — St. Timothy’s Circle No. 504, Daughters of Isabella, will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, at the Parish of the Holy Savior Church Hall, 126 Main Ave.

Chairwomen for the meeting will be Dot Benedix and Sylvia Touchette, and committee members Janette Blouin, Kelly Beauchesne and Jackie Parent will be present.

Gladys Gilbert will be honored for 64 years of membership. 

An officers’ workshop training will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at St. Charles Parish, 132 McKeen St., Brunswick.

The installation of new officers will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, at St. Rose of Lima, 1 Church St., Jay.

Thanksgiving food raffle tickets will be sold after 9:30 a.m. Masses, at the monthly breakfasts or through any Daughter. The winner of the raffle will be drawn on Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Holy Savior Christmas Fair. 

Daughters are asked to donate nonperishable items or cash for the annual Thanksgiving raffle.

Holy Savior Parish movie night

RUMFORD — Holy Savior Parish will host a family movie night at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, in the church hall.

The movie will be “The 13th Day: The True Story of Fatima.”

Church to host family day

LIVERMORE FALLS — Emmanuel Assembly of God will host a free family fun day instead of serving its monthly second Saturday luncheon.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at the church, intersection of routes 17 and 133. 

The event will include games and a bounce house. All are welcome.
