AUBURN — A local woman was hit by a car on Marston Hill Road on Tuesday evening and suffered injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening, according to Auburn Police Lt. Scott Watkins. 

Anne Skelton, 56, of Auburn was struck in the roadway by a vehicle driven by 64-year-old Daniel Scott, also of Auburn, around 5 p.m. in the area of 14 Marston Hill Road, Watkins said. 

Marston Hill Road runs from Center Minot Hill Road in Minot to the intersection of North Auburn, West Auburn and Perkins Ridge Roads on the western side of Lake Auburn.

Scott was traveling northwest on Marston Hill Road and Skelton was in the roadway, Watkins said.

Skelton was taken to a local hospital, Watkins said. 

Marston Hill Road was closed to traffic while police investigated. No charges were immediately filed.
