Garden club to meet

FARMINGTON — The Mt. Blue Area Garden Club will meet Tuesday, Oct. 17, at Trinity United Methodist Church on Farmington Falls Road.

Club member Mary Batt will present “Gardens of Ireland.”

The club will meet at 12:30 p.m. for a social half hour, and the business meeting and program will follow at 1 p.m.

Light refreshments will be provided. This meeting is open to the public.

Donations sought for sale

FARMINGTON — Fairbanks School is seeking donations for its Chinese auction that will be held Sunday, Oct. 22, at 508 Fairbanks Road.

Proceeds will benefit the winter maintenance fund.

Andover Fall Festival Oct. 14

ANDOVER — The Andover School Parent Teacher Association will host the Fall Festival, which will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14.

The First Congregational Church will have a bake sale and a white elephant sale and an art show in sanctuary.

The food pantry will have a basket raffle. 

The Historical Society will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
