SOUTH PARIS — Douglas Robinson, 75, of South Paris, passed away on Friday, Oct. 6, at his home. He was born in South Paris on June 9, 1942, the son of Eugene Earl and Rose Smith Robinson. He graduated from Paris High School in 1960 and faithfully served our country in the U.S. Air Force. He held several jobs over the years including SnoCraft, A. C. Lawrence, Penley Mill, general foreman at Hancock Lumber and most recently groundskeeper and maintenance at Dew Drop Inn. He loved auctions, hunting and fishing. He restored old snowmobiles.
Douglas is survived by his son, Jeffrey; a special son-in-law, Randy Sikes; grandchildren, Marie Davis, Derek Sikes and Trevor Sikes; great-grandchild, Wyatt Asa Robinson; a brother, David Robinson and wife Pauline; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Kimberly Sikes; and his siblings, Mione Record and Donald Robinson.
