(Advertisement) Four Yard Wide Linoleum has a great advantage over other Linoleums as there are no seams in the center of your floor. Water can’t reach the under part and spoil the great wearing quality of a Linoleum. With little care it will practically wear a lifetime. It has a heavy burlap back, made of cork and other combination which makes the body very substantial. Will positively not peel off. Price is 85c and 90c per square yard. It must belong to someone. Who’s looking for a red Volkswagen? This was being asked by the Auburn police department this morning. It seems the department has a red Volkswagen in their garage and they cannot locate the owner of the vehicle. Capt. Leslie Stewart said this morning that the vehicle was found on one of Auburn’s streets this past week, and the department wants to return it to the rightful owner. Police are requesting that anyone who may have information as to who owns the car to contact the department.

Stepping around paint cans and drills and seat cushions under repair, Rep. Olympia J. Snowe, R-Maine, surveyed the construction of the soon-to-be-opened Ritz Theater in Lewiston and tried to think back. She figured it was probably 1964 or 1965 that she was last there watching the big screen that has now been removed, along with half of the seats. The theater is being transformed into the L-A Public Theater and will open tonight with “Scapin” by Molière. Snowe stopped by to see what will be done with the $150,000 in federal funds she helped to obtain for the project.
