LEWISTON — Chantel Pettengill, owner of Pettengill Academy, has been named co-chairwoman and executive member of the Maine Child Care Advisory Council.
She is joined by Pam Prevost of Maine Roads to Quality and Sen. Amy Volk as part of the executive committee.
The purpose of the Maine Child Care Advisory Council is to encourage the development of child care policies that are coordinated among state agencies to promote quality, uniformity and efficiency of service.
Pettengill Academy is an early childhood education school serving families in the Lewiston/Auburn communities.
