I hope the people of Lewiston will join me and vote for Ben Chin for mayor on Nov. 7. Chin has been working hard to make Lewiston better on many fronts, including housing and homelessness, wages and economic justice and health care for all — a human right.
I know from personal experience that Lewiston needs shelters, and there are some who need more help to get a job. I have a disability, but I still work. I have a good job now, and my wages will go up soon because Chin and others worked hard to pass a minimum wage increase.
Chin has fought for housing, jobs and health care, and he helps people do their best when they are struggling.
Lewiston needs a mayor to bring new ideas and a vision to move forward. The one person who can do that is Ben Chin.
